Panic Hardware
Panic hardware
.
The Laidlaw range of panic and emergency exit devices combines attractive styling and quality engineering with a choice of fixed or adjustable bolts and the convenience of Pullman latches. All are fire rated and CE marked for safety to ensure peace of mind.
The range is fully certified to the required European standards:
BS EN 179:2008 – covers devices to be used in emergency situations where people are familiar with the emergency exit and its hardware and therefore a panic situation is unlikely to develop for example offices, factories and non-public buildings.
BS EN 1125:2008 – covers devices that will allow safe and effective escape through a doorway with minimum effort and without prior knowledge of the device. i.e for locked doors on escape routes where panic situations can be foreseen, for example public buildings, places of entertainment and shopping malls.
